THE MARIA'S STORY
At Maria’s, every cup tells a story. It’s a celebration of connection.
Maria’s Coffee Roastery began as a tribute to family and a passion for quality. In 2014, the roastery was founded in honor of Maria van Jaarsveld, whose kitchen was always filled with the comforting aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the warmth of loved ones gathered around. In 2019, the next generation joined to continue carrying this dream forward.
At Maria’s, every cup tells a story. It’s a celebration of connection, family, and the simple joys that bring us together. Rooted in the beauty of the Karoo, we pour our heart into each roast, infusing every blend with the warmth, tradition, and togetherness that Maria instilled in us.
Today, Maria’s continues as a family-owned roastery, dedicated to sharing a legacy of love and quality in every roast.

THE ROASTING METHOD
We roast small, frequent batches for fresher,
more flavourful coffee.
At Maria's, we are committed to delivering an exceptional coffee experience by using only the highest quality premium beans and a meticulous roasting method. We roast small, frequent batches to ensure that every cup is as fresh and flavourful as possible.
Our preferred roasting technique is the Medium American Roast, which we believe brings out the best in our beans. This method achieves a perfect medium brown shade without any oily residue, allowing the intricate flavours of each bean variety to shine through. The result is a rich, nuanced coffee that offers a delightful taste experience, inviting you to savour every sip.
